The construction and conceptualization in a multilingual mind

This dissertation presents a cognitive analysis of meaning of English metaphoric noun plus noun constructions and their Croatian translational equivalents (such as monkey business - majmunska posla), as well as the analysis of how Croatian speakers with different levels of English proficiency process Croatian equivalents of the target constructions.
