Ceramic human figure head fragment
A ceramic head, possibly from a figurine, nose and mouth are still fully intact. This fragment was likely part of a ceramic effigy used for ceremonial purposes. Similar fragments have been attributed to Central Mexico, illustrating the Teothuacán style of the Classical period. This fragment may have previously had a lavish headdress typical of the figures of the period.
