In Joan and Maria they relive the journey they made by train to Manresa, Terrace and Lloret de Mar, two young emigrants of extremely humble origin who met and celebrated living in a neighbourhood of Carmel huts. On the wedding day, John remembers that he went to church in the subway. I had no money, but I had already started building the house where they still continue to live now.
