Horseshoe
This is a front horseshoe for a carriage horse. It has six nail holes which are very close to the rim. It was made by H. J. W. Duke of Nether Wallop, Hampshire, circa 1945–6, and is part of a large collection of traditional craft products acquired from the British Council in 1960.
