Harness, halter
This is an adjustable halter for a horse or ox. It is made from four-strand Italian hemp. It was made by A. H. Buckingham of Ollerton, Nottinghamshire, circa 1945–6, and is part of a large collection of traditional craft products acquired from the British Council in 1960.
