Attic black-figure exaleiptron with pairs of animals on the shoulder. Vases of this type were probably intended for perfumes and have been found both accompanying female burials and as votive offerings in sanctuaries. They are also depicted in scenes of women at their toilette, nuptial rituals and funerary cults. Mid-6th c. BC. Gift of Peggy Zoumboulaki in memory of her husband Tassos (ΓΕ 30999)
