Before industry: peasant life in Kiskunfélegyháza

József Varga was my grandmother's great-grandfather. He was born 1813 near the town of Kiskunfélegyháza, Hungary, and fought in the 1848 Revolution.

In old years, he wrote the story of his life in poetry, almost 100 hand-written pages, which he did not manage to publish. The manuscript is enriched by several drawings, and also by songs, including working life.
