This exhibition tells the story of the former library of Riga Jesuit College - a unique collection of books with a cultural and historical importance on a European scale.
The exhibition is part of the Rīga Jesuit College Library (1583–1621) project, which focuses on identifying the copies from the former Riga Jesuit library and bibliographical reconstruction of a collection of books important to the cultural heritage of Latvia. The project is part of the Historical Path of the Idea of Latvian Statehood in the Common European Cultural Space project, implemented under the Latvian State Centenary Programme.
