The Dishware of the Oppidum of Bibracte (France), a Witness to the Evolution of Celtic Society
Archaeological excavations carried out since the mid-19th century at the Bibracte site have uncovered a large number of ceramics. Their study has enabled the establishment of a precise typology of the ceramic tableware used in Bibracte and its region during the 1st century BCE, a period marked by the rapid Romanisation of lifestyles, particularly in dining customs. 3D models are a valuable tool for identifying ceramics, which are generally found in fragmentary states.
