The Chindia Tower
Tower of Vlad the Impaler from Târgoviște
The tower was built in the mid 15th century during extensive construction works of the princely court carried out by the rulers Vlad Dracul (1436-1442, 1443-1447) and later, by his son, Vlad the Impaler (1448, 1456-1462, 1476), also known as Dracula/Drăculea.
