I joined the ESB as an apprentice electrician and was assigned to Ardnacrusha Power Station in 1966 I worked there until I retired in 2010.

The ESB had two streams for apprenticeships: 1 - Generation Stations including mechanical and electrical and 2 - Line Work / District electricians.
