Madonna and Child in stone
A polychrome figure sculpture of the Madonna and Child in limestone. The Virgin is crowned, with a pendant veil and wearing a long draped gown. Mary carries the Infant Jesus on her hip and is gently holding his foot. The top half of the child is missing. There are traces of original paint on the statue. 14th or 15th century AD, Burgundy.
