Maiolica Jar
A glazed maiolica jar decorated with the image of an angel with the inscription underneath TRODREVBARO. It has a lid with a central knob surrounded by floral motifs. The back is plain. Small jars such as this generally contained medication in tablet or lozenge form, in this case of rhubarba purgative.
Material: Maiolica. Accession no: HCM 294. Current location: The Hunt Museum, Limerick.
