Maiolica Pharmacy Jar
A drug jar (albarello) in maiolica, it is tubular with a slightly concave body, narrower at the foot and mouth. It is decorated with rows of blue and yellow flowers between lined triangles. The decoration is derived from Valencian leaf decoration. There is an inscription in a band across the body: dia galauga, or, galanga.
