Raqqa-ware style Bowl
This bowl has many characteristics of Raqqa ware (northern Syria). Its shape is conical with straight sides and rim. The ceramic body is stone paste or fritware. It is largely unglazed on the exterior. The alkaline turquoise glaze has been thickly applied and has dripped unevenly down the outside rim.
