Greek Lekythos
A Greek lekythos (oil flask) with a round base, a tall body which is wide at the shoulder and narrower at the base, a tall neck and a deep rim splaying outward. The vase has a tall strap handle ending at the shoulder. The body has traces of figures but it is now badly worn. These types of vessels would have contained oil and were used as grave offerings.
