Small traction trebuchet
A traction trebuchet (or petraria) is the main artillery weapon around 1000. A small traction trebuchet needed a team of 4 to 7 people, who could assemble it in less than an hour. Stone projectiles of several kg could be hurdled towards the enemy over a distance of more than 50 m, at a rate of 3 to 4 per minute.
