Jean-Georges Dupuy was born on September 11, 1888 in Gironde. Mobilized on August 3, 1914 in the 49th infantry regiment, he was a soldier and then a stretcher-bearer in 1916. He took part in the battles at Verdun, Craonne and Montmirail and received several citations. He was demobilized in 1919 and received the Croix de Guerre. He died in 1962.
