Albert Dumaz was born in 1877 in Les Déserts (Savoie). He did his military service in Valence in the 1st Hussars Regiment in 1898. He was mobilized in 1914. He was married and had a daughter (born in 1910). He was enrolled in the 14th battalion of hunters and joined the front in the Aisne. He died under the bombardment of Château-Thierry station on June 5, 1917. He is buried in Château-Thierry.
