Roman mosaic from Bignor, West Sussex
The engraving shows part of a mosaic pavement from the Roman villa at Bignor, West Sussex. This was found in Room 7 on Lysons' plan, which had an hexagonal pool surounded by a mosic floor divided into hexagonal compartments with dancing nymphs. The other half of the pool can be seen in Britannia Romana 96.
