Bedlington Terriers
A man with two Bedlington terriers at the side of a country lane. This photograph was taken during Mass Observation's visit to meet the Pitmen painters of Ashington in Northumberland in 1938. Bedlington terriers originated from the town of the same name which is also in Northumberland.
