Female wooden funerary figure. Very damaged at back. Tomb owner. 310mm high. These statues were placed by tombs and represent the dead person. They were believed to be the home of the life-force, or ka. They show the dead person as living. Such statues were given offerings of food and drink and so were put in the offering chapel.
