Lea R. was born in Budapest in 1932, in a middle class family. Until 1938 her family lived in Vienna. In 1941 the family was interned, as alien citizens and they got to Ricse. The parents of their best friend took Lea to themselves. Lea's parents were unhanded, but they had to register every month at KEOH.
