Workers' meeting in the canteen of the old Cikta factory.
It was the Cikta shoe factory that launched the rapid development of Martfű and made it become an incorporated town. The factory was an affiliated firm of the Bata company of Érsekújvár. After the nationalization of 1949, the factory kept on operating under the name: Tisza Shoe Factory.
