Upon their arrival in the port of Den Helder, the destroyers Groningen and Limburg are greeted by naval personnel and schout bij nacht baron W.J. de Vos van Steenwijck, commander of the naval forces of the Netherlands. After the ships are moored, the people on board are united with their families.
