After making a special journey from the Isle of Arran, the Duchess of Montrose, welcomed by pipers of the London Scottish performed the opening ceremony of the giant new apple store installed at Cockayane Hatley, Potton, Bedfordshire. Set in the mist of extensive orchards the great new store is fitted with the latest equipment and refrigerators to keep the apples in condition during the storage period.
