Harness, halter
This is a night halter for a horse. It is made from Bombay hemp webbing with an Italian hemp shank. It was made by A. H. Buckingham of Ollerton, Nottinghamshire, circa 1945–6, and is part of a large collection of traditional craft products acquired from the British Council in 1960.
