My Uncles's lillies
When I was 20, my uncle died. He was in his mid-70s. He used to work as a gardener in San Francisco where he had emigrated from Dublin in 1927.
His boss gave him a book with a dedication featured in it. The book was on horticulture and details processes then unknown in Europe.
I also have a photograph taken of him before he emigrated in 1927.
