The Catalan nightgown of Maria Pilar
This nightgown is made of heavy linen with a lot of hand-stitching. It belonged to Maria Pilar, born 1924, and shows her monogram, MP. Pilar lived in the Catalan region of Spain, near Figueras. The Spanish dictator Franco made life for the Catalan very difficult, that is why a lot of them had to migrate to France.
