London Olympics and Paralympics

I moved to London in the same week that the city was awarded the Olympic and Paralympic Games. What a week to move - not only was there huge joy and pride at this accolade, but also fear and sorrow as the very next day, many were killed in terrorist attacks on the tube and transport network.

But London recovered, and the games went ahead in 2012 - very succesfully!
