Edna and Bunty on the tennis court
This photograph shows Edna and Bunty, boarders at Hillcourt (now Rathdown School) dressed in their tennis whites with dark stocking and laced-up shoes.
They are standing on the tennis court at the front of the school, with their arms linked, and their wooden rackets in their hands. You can see the tram lines and service line marked out, and the tennis net behind.
