Polished Stone Axe
A flint axehead, with the face being ovate symmetrical in shape. The sides are pointed and almost straight in plan with the edges chipped. The blade edge is curved symmetrical and defined by being ground and polished. The axe has a narrow pointed oval cross-section and is finely flaked all over. ?Irish.
