White-ground lekythos
A vase or lekythos with a round base, a tall body which is wide at the shoulder and narrower at the base, a tall neck and a deep rim splaying outward. The vase has a tall strap handle ending at the shoulder. The body has traces of figures but it is now badly worn. This vessel would have contained oil and was a grave offering.
