Azulejo - ceramic decorations
Vivenda Lígia, built in 1923, is considered the oldest building still standing on the Avenue. Ceramic decorations (azulejo) of tenement houses popular in Portugal in Aveiro, a city known for its Art Nouveau architecture, which is a tourist attraction. Ceramic tiles, hand-decorated according to unique artistic designs, were created at the beginning of the 20th century.
