Cheese making in Tatra Mountains
Production of oscypek cheese in a shepherd's hut in Rusinowa Polana in the Tatra Mountains. Oscypek is a hard smoked cheese made of salted sheep's milk. The cheese is molded in decorative forms with sizes ranging from 17 to 23 cm. Since 2008, oscypek has been registered under the European Union Protected Designation of Origin. Oscypek is made by the highlanders.
