Cheongsam
Cheongsam is a common traditional dress for women in China from the end of the 19th century. It developed from the robe worn in the Ching dynasty. This Cheongsam doesn’t have the high collar or the asymmetrical closure usually seen in dress of this style, it is likely this example was made for foreign customers.
