Assessment of hazardous trees using visual methods and arboricultural instruments
Hazardous trees can cause significant damage if a portion of a tree or the entire tree falls on a potential target. Assessment of hazardous trees can be made visually or using instrumental methods. Tree decay funghi cause degradation of wood in living trees which increases hazard for tree breakage.
