Part one of a two part documentary drama titled On the trail of the 'wonder rabbis'. A documentary drama about the history and fates of the Hasidic Jews of Transcarpathia. Using a parallel comparison of past and future, the film investigates the history of these people rich in cultural and religious traditions, until the tragic decline of their population.
