Portrait of Machteld Muilman
Jan Pranger married his second wife, Machteld Muilman, in 1745. Van der Mijn painted this likeness of her as a pendant to his portrait of Pranger. She is shown in their house on the Singel in Amsterdam, wearing a satin jacket embellished with ermine tails.
