This gabbro axehead (L 13.4 x W 5.6cm) has a total thickness of 3.4cm and weighs 416g. It has a full oval cross-section and curved symmetrical edge shape. Its blade is asymmetrical and its butt is rounded. The blade, sides, butt and faces are ground and the blade, sides and faces are polished. The sides are broad and rounded.
