Cravat

This cravat was found in the pocket of 74/5 jacket, the cravat is made from woven cotton, with narrow sateen stripes running through the length of the fabric. At the back, on the lower collar edge is a hand stitched button hole. This would have probably enabled the cravat to be firmly attached to the shirt collar band before the cravat was tied.
