The sisters Auguste and Gina Lang lived at Luitpoldstraße 31 in Bamberg. The field postcards usually begin with "Dear Aunts". The senders include her nephews Georg, Adolf, Willi, Joseph, Carl and Hermann, who served on both the Western and Eastern Fronts. The sisters must also have regularly sent the nephews gifts such as cookies or sausages. Nothing else is known about the life of the sisters.
