20 years ago the slogan Fashion, This is Belgian was launched as an extra creative and economical stimulus for the Belgian textile industry. 20 years later Belgian fashion has acquired international fame. With this small exhibition the Flanders Fashion Institute looked back at and forward to the Belgian fashion phenomena.
