Battersea power station
Battersea power station was a coal-burning power station, located on the banks of the Thames river in London. It was built in two stages, the first completed in the 1930s, the second stage finished in the 1950s.
The power station was decommissioned between 1975 and 1983, and was unused and derelict for many years.
