FRAD062_006 - Ernest Loxhay, 1913-1918.

Having started his military service in 1913, he was already engaged when the war started. On January 22, 1916, he was discharged following a shrapnel wound. He died two years later as a result of this injury (gangrene). Decorator by profession, this painter produced many paintings between 1916 and 1918.
