FRAD033-132 Histoire d'Adolphe Seigle

Adolphe Seigle was born in Nice. Architect to the Governor General in Algeria, he draws many caricatural illustrations for menus. Member of the Engineering company, he took part in the battles of the Argonne in 1916, in Avocourt (Meuse), in the sappers. He filed numerous patents after the war and seemed to have been endowed with a great sense of humor. He died in Bordeaux in 1967.
