Incised-groove Vase Food Vessel, HCA 609
This is a type of Early Bronze Age vessel called ‘Food Vessels’. Known as a Vase Food Vessel this pot has an angular profile and is decorated entirely with incised grooving. A herringbone motif rings the internal rim and the external decoration is zoned.
