CUBA: THE OPPOSITION GETS SIGNATURES FOR A REFERENDUM ON THE COUNTRY’S DEMOCRATIZATION

Havana, Cuba. Groups in opposition to the Castro regime have gathered enough signatures to demand a referendum. The dissidents want free elections and democracy. In keeping with the Cuban constitution, the petition must be debated in the National Assembly.
