My great-grandfather's clock

My great-grandfather was a carpenter in a village called Flegessen, Northern Germany. This old photograph shows him with his wife, his two small daughters and his workshop assistants in front of his house.

The photograph must date around 1910. When my grandmother married in 1928, her father made as part of the dowry (nowadays we would say as a wedding gift) the whole furniture of the young couple…
