Early Geometric burial in pithos
The settlement at P.O.T.A Romanou seems to have had a long life, since, apart from the LH buildings, there were also discovered houses and tombs of the Sub-Mycenaean, Early Geometric and Geometric period. Among these finds there was the important find of a burial pithos of the Early Geometric period, which bore a stone anchor as lid and contained at least 10 intact vessels.
